Afiniti are delighted to once again receive an Award of Excellence from the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) at their annual awards gala which was held in London, last Friday evening.
In recognition of a project, MyConnect, which we partnered with long-term client, Network Rail, on in 2018; the MyConnect project received the Award of Excellence in the category of Best Engagement Programme.
Network Rail were migrating to a new intranet, MyConnect, which would enable access to mobile devices and facilitate individual personalisation. This meant that many frontline staff who were previously unable to use the intranet would be able to take advantage of having access to important tools and information all in one place, and from any location. Built on SharePoint online, MyConnect also marked Network Rail’s first step towards the more collaborative ways of working which Office 365 enables.
We partnered with Network Rail to develop an engagement and adoption programme which brought a holistic view of what it would take for employees to quickly adapt to the intranet, as well as setting them on the right track for further Office- 365-based transformation.
“It is a privilege to preside over these awards – particularly as the entries just seem to get better and better, year on year.”
IoIC’s Awards Chair, Justine Stevenson said: “It is a privilege to preside over these awards – particularly as the entries just seem to get better and better, year on year. Not only have this year’s judges been impressed, delighted and excited by the high quality of entries, but tell me the excellence on display makes it a pleasure to judge.”
A huge congratulations to the Afiniti and Network Rail team who worked so hard on this project.
